Country Music Artist Michael Peterson to Return to the 2010 NRA Bianchi Cup

Grammy and Country Music Association award nominee Michael Peterson will return with the world’s best pistol competitors to the NRA Bianchi Cup, in Columbia, Missouri, May 26-29, 2010.

Michael Peterson is recognized around the world for country music chart-toppers like “Drink, Swear, Steal and Lie” and “From Here to Eternity,” and his charitable acts have brought him repeated recognition for outstanding service to our nation. Peterson’s new CD, released in August, features the single “You Could Hear a Pin Drop,” which will benefit the American Legion Legacy Scholarship. Peterson’s My Real Life Tour, that includes the “TAG! You’re It” motivational program, will continue through the end of 2009 and spring of 2010.

“Shooting in the Bianchi Cup is a great experience and helps me gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the art and beauty of shooting sports,” Peterson said. “Plus, I’m looking forward to shooting better than last year.” The top selling country music star is passionate about his music, shooting and giving back to the community.

Peterson plans to use his Sig Sauer P 226 and Safariland Holster again at this year’s match. “I have really enjoyed my Sig, it has been a great firearm to practice & compete with,” he said. “I am grateful to Sig Sauer and Safariland for their generous continued support, and I am looking forward to being back in Columbia with fellow members of the NRA and the shooting community.”
